Weekday School is a Christian preschool serving children ages 2 1/2 to 5 years.  Our school is known for its committed teaching staff, play-based learning environment, and personalized focus on each child. Small class sizes and a strong network of parent volunteers ensure that the Weekday School is an ideal place for young children to grow and learn.

Ready For School?

Things to do to prepare your child for preschool

There are several practical things that parents can do at home to help a young child get ready to go to preschool for the first time.  Here are some of our favorite tips and suggestions:

Get Involved

Volunteer

Experience how your child interacts in a school setting. Sign up based on your schedule. Opportunities include field trips, woodworking, parties and special projects.

Advisory Board

The Advisory Board is made up entirely of Weekday Moms. These board members help with planning school events. This is a great way to get involved in the school as well as get to know other Moms.

Communication

We strive to keep parents updated on upcoming events and happenings at the school. Some of the ways we communicate with our families are through:

sign up genius Sites

Sign up genius classroom sites are set-up for each specific class to sign up for volunteer opportunities.

Newsletters

Teachers of each class prepare a monthly calendar and letter to inform parents of skills to be covered, curriculum plans, and insights into classroom activities and events. Periodically, families also receive the Weekday School Newsletter highlighting early childhood articles, a letter from the Director and more. The Weekday School Weekly provides information about events each week via email.

Social Media
